Shiri Achu 10th Anniversary Art Exhibition
International artist, Shiri Achu returns to London and to St. Augustine’s Tower with her 10th Anniversary exhibition, The 40th Act.
Ten years ago, Shiri’s very first solo exhibition, The 30th Act, was held at St Augustine's tower. Since then, she has been invited to speak, educate and exhibit at The Commonwealth Secretariat, The Houses of Parliament and the Olympic Africa Village in London, 2012.
Born in Cameroon, West Africa, Shiri and her family immigrated to London where she found her passion for art and painting at the age of 9. Today, she owns Shiri Achu Art and actively exhibits around the world.
The aims of Shiri Achu Art are to showcase and promote African culture worldwide. Shiri’s paintings reflect the beautiful simplicity of Africa and she offers this to promote, enlighten and increase understanding of the African culture and African people.
Collectors of Shiri’s art include Faith Evans, Angie Stone, Brandy, Erykah Badu, Roger Milla, James Faulkner and Mutabaruka. The 40th Act, will largely consist of 30 framed and signed Limited Edition Shiri Achu Art Prints, and 10 original pieces. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase these limited edition signed prints at affordable prices. The original pieces will also be available at a reasonable price.
