We are located just behind the Old Town Hall building, adjacent to 352 Mare Street. 

GETTING HERE

LONDON OVERGROUND

St. Augustine's Tower is a short walk from Hackney Central station and Hackney Downs station.​

UNDERGROUND

The closest underground station is Bethnal Green, which is on the Central Line.

Buses 106 and 254 go from Bethnal Green station towards St. Augustine's Tower.

Alight at Hackney Town Hall.

The journey from Bethnal Green station to St. Augustine's Tower takes approximately 20 minutes.

BUS

Convenient bus routes include:

242, 253, 254, 48, 55, 106, 38, 30, 32, & 276.

FACILITIES

There is limited disabled access, as there are many steps to climb at St Augustine’s Tower.

There is also a small historical exhibition on the ground floor.​

 

Please note, there are no toilets inside the building.

However, there are public toilets in the square beside the tower.
